General Appearance:Standing at five feet, six and three fourths inches, is Carlotta. At first glance, she appears small and frail but for what weight she has, she knows how to use it. When walking, especially down stairs, Carlotta’s steps are rushed, quick and – oddly so – full of grace, as if she is late for a meeting. Where she is capable of slowing down, it’s just one of her odd quirks that help her stick out in a crowd. Her golden-blonde locks usually fall at, or slightly below, her shoulders, depending on the time of year. Often not doing any styling what-so-ever – aside from getting out of the shower and brushing – Carlotta’s hair falls in loose, natural waves. Just below her honey-colored eyebrows blaze hauntingly pale blue eyes. Her face is slim, and slight with delicate features, surely a blessing from her veela grandmother. Though no one, aside from her sister, knows, Carlotta has a tattoo on her left side. It is of a tall, gangly, leafless tree. The tips of the branches reach just below her bust and the roots travel all the way down her hip. Hanging on the branches are two lit lanterns, in representation of her deceased grandparents. Also, a crow roosts on a top branch. On a very strange, impulsive whim she got it for her birthday from Séphora.

Background: Aurélaine’s family is from the Northeastern Part of France. She has a twin brother, one younger brother and one younger sister. Her, along with her siblings are full-blooded veelas. Growing up in France, Aurélaine’s life was fairly easy with her family’s wealth. She and her sister both attended Beauxbatons where their brothers attended Hogwarts. Bradley Baldwin was Alphonse’s best friend throughout their years at Hogwarts. Bradley, an only child muggle born from Boston, Massachusetts, spent most of his summers with the Lacoursiere family. It wasn’t long before it was obvious that Bradley and Auréliane had more than friends in mind. Though, before they officially dated, Auréliane was sent off to secondary schooling to become a mediwitch, where one night she was particularly careless, leaving her with child. At the age of eighteen the baby was born and she immediately dropped out of her secondary schooling to take care of her baby. It took a few months after the birth, but soon Bradley came around and forgave her, wanting nothing more than what was best for Auréliane and the little girl she had named Séphora. Roughly four years later, the couple married.

The first child to Bradley and Auréliane was Malakai. Two years later, Carlotta was born By this time, Séphora was kick starting her third year at Hogwarts as a little, bustling Slytherin. With such drive, ambition, and confidence, the couple knew they didn’t have to worry for her. Carlotta grew up in France, with her older brother, and Séphora coming home during Christmas and summer vacation. Not only did Malakai grow with his siblings, he also spent many times with his cousins, Luc, Fernanade, and Aloyse. All six children grew up learning English and French. Though, it was only Malakai that picked up his father’s American accent. Luc and Malakai, to this day, are best friends and spend most of their free time together, when not separately trying to woo the opposite sex. Then again, they often act as one another’s wing men. As of late, Malakai’s family has been slightly rough around the edges. Within his immediate family, anyway. Bradley and Auréliane have both been putting in more hours at work, Sephora seems to want nothing to do with the family any longer, Carlotta’s condition has become increasingly worse, and Malakai, to relieve stress has resorted to the very thing that put his father’s parents in their early graves… smoking.
