it's time to show you what i'm all about,
,summer grace winchester!?
There's a fire starting in my heart,
Reaching a fever pitch and it's bringing me out the dark,
Finally, I can see you crystal clear,
Go ahead and sell me out and a I'll lay your ship bare,
See how I'll leave with every piece of you,
Don't underestimate the things that I will do,
There's a fire starting in my heart,
Reaching a fever pitch and it's bring me out the dark,
The scars of your love remind me of us,
They keep me thinking that we almost had it all,
The scars of your love, they leave me breathless,
I can't help feeling,
We could have had it all,
Rolling in the deep,
You had my heart inside your hand,
And you played it to the beat

Dislikes: Arachnids; boorish men; her own impatience; dull activities; ignorance brought on by lethargy and a stereotypical personality

General Appearance: Summer is the regular beautiful California beach babe. With her slender frame and flowing blond hair, she is quite the sight to see. Due to her thin body, her chest isn't very prominent. At first glance, one might mistake her for a Veela, but not a single trace of this special trait runs through her blood. Her skin is slightly kissed by the sun, leaving a faint trail of freckles across the bridge of her nose. Summer knows the dangers of tanning, so she avoids intentionally damaging her skin, but hiking often leaves her exposed to the elements. Her oval-shaped face is framed by her naturally wavy blond hair, and falls to her mid-back. Summer's thick eyelashes bring out the color in her stormy blue-gray eyes. They often reveal her emotions, although she tries to hide them in an attempt to be brave and independent.

Mother: Gabriella Winchester née Hawthorne, deceased
Father: Damon Winchester, 38, works for the US military
Siblings: none
Others: none
Background: Summer isn't very familiar of her family history due to the fact her father is reluctant to share much on his wife. Once, at the age of twelve, she had been lucky enough to catch Damon in a reverie in which he shared that Gabriella was a captivating British woman, whom he had met on leave as a young man. This tidbit of information has only made Summer crave for more on her mother, but she is wary of asking her father, who still feels the pain of his wife's death to this day. On the other hand, Damon's life as a child is not so secretive. He was born and raised in northern New York where the woods turned violent shades in the fall. His mother, a regular muggle, came from an established New York family, while his father, a muggle with wizard powers, derived itself from a German clan that had long since moved to the United States. The elder Winchesters passed in 1990 at each other's side. How Damon and Gabriella met is still a mystery to this day.
On June 15, 1997 Summer Grace Winchester was born. While the beautiful miracle of birth was celebrated, the solemness of death also lingered in the air. Gabriella, sick with a fatal disease prior to birthing her child, passed that very morning after laboring her only child. All Summer had left of her mother was a silver-chained necklace, the faded ingravings of GKH inscribed across the smooth metal. Damon and his daughter live in the quiets of Vermont. The home is a couple of miles from a small community with friendly inhabitants. Damon, due to his job, is often gone from home, leaving Summer to her own devices. When she was younger, she went to houses belonging to friends of the family. At the age of fifteen, she was granted permission to stay on her own as long as she could prove herself responsible.
Summer had no knowledge of the wizarding community until she recieved her letter from Hogwarts at the age of eleven. Of course, frusteration coursed through her veins at the thought that her own father would hide such a secret from her, but it was soon overcome with excitement. She has been going to Hogwarts since, after being placed in Gryffindor House like her father. It was during her third year that she was accepted on the Quidditch team. The shock was added by the fact that in the trophey room, her own father's name stood on a gleaming gold cup from his own years at Hogwarts. Damon enjoys coaching his daughter on his favorite sport when he can. The excitement smeared on his face mimicks that of when he was still playing for Gryffindor himself.

Summer adjusted her thick parka that framed her small shoulders. Her heavy breathing was coming out in little nebulous-like clouds that floated into the freezing air and disappeared. Wisps of her golden hair were carried with the strong wind, brought on by the high elevation with which she stood at and the billowing black clouds forming overhead. She pulled out her compass; at the moment, she was heading northeast, right in the direction of the peak of the mountain. Summer grunted as she continued on the pathway. The pack that she carried on her back was luckily light enough for the girl in comparison to her body mass, but she was strong and athletic, which came in handy on an expedition that involved physical exertion.
Her blistered, chapped lips burned with irritation. To soothe the pain, she moistened them, only making them sting with more ferocity. Ignoring the pain, she moved with a new-found power, thrill seeping through her veins like an adrenaline shot. Underneath her thick-booted feet, snow crunched rhythmically, keeping in beat with the song of her heart. Each step brought her closer to her destination. Her head reeled with excitement at the thought of reaching her objective.
After a few more painful miles of walking, Summer found the epiphany to ease her reckless soul. Standing on the secluded mountain peak, she looked onto the horizon and closed her eyes as she felt the wind whip through her hair and caress her with its gentle touch. A large grin erupted on her plush but sore lips, and she laughed in giddy joy. All of the troubling and intricate events in her young life seemed to lead up to this very moment of complete happiness. Opening her blue eyes, she traced the twin mountain range, parallel to the one she stood on, with a careful, affectionate gaze. In the world she was born in, Summer felt like a stranger. Atop these mountains, she felt like she belonged to the wilderness, to its dangerous grasp. This was her home. Quietly, she whispered onto the wind, "Toujours belle et libre."
